Kia ora koutou katoa

We are delighted to invite organisations to partner with the World Indigenous Suicide Prevention Conference 2026, taking place at Claudelands, Hamilton, in New Zealand from 17–19 September 2026.

We will bring together an international gathering dedicated to influencing change and promoting Social and Emotional Wellbeing. Across three days of presentations, discussions, networking, and collaboration, the conference will create a shared space for connection and action.

As Indigenous Nations, we continue to carry the responsibility of preventing and healing from the impacts of suicide within our communities. This conference provides a vital opportunity to come together from across the globe, to share knowledge, strengthen cultural responses, and stand in solidarity with one another.

Our collective aim is to Indigenise our approaches: moving beyond deficit and struggle, towards pathways grounded in wellbeing, connection, and life. Central to this vision is the recognition of the healing powers of our waters, which have always nurtured, restored, and carried our peoples.

Why partner with us?

We invite you to stand with us in kotahitanga, united in the kaupapa of suicide prevention and Indigenous wellbeing.

By sponsoring the World Indigenous Suicide Prevention Conference 2026, you become part of a global movement grounded in whanaungatanga and manaakitanga, building stronger, safer communities for generations to come.

Your support will:

  • Honour your organisation’s commitment to Indigenous peoples and suicide prevention.

  • Create opportunities for shared learning, healing, and innovation.

  • Strengthen connections with community leaders, Elders, practitioners, and changemakers.

  • Contribute to a lasting legacy that reaches beyond the conference and into the lives of those we serve.

Together, we can uplift our peoples, protect our future, and ensure that every life is valued and connected.

Tiakina te oranga, tiakina te wairua – Protect life, protect the spirit.
